The Group started its manufacturing unit of Wire-Mesh in Bathinda with a monthly capacity of 10 metric tons, gradually increasing operations to cover the state of Punjab. Today the monthly capacity is more than fifty tons.
The Group entered into the fast expanding Education Industry on the strengths of its marketing network and quality services. The Group established MICRONET, an IT & Management College with Affiliation from Punjab Technical University, which offers Master's degree courses in Computers& business administration. The course includes DCA, BCA, BSC-IT,ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN HARDWARE & NETWORKING, PGDCA, MSC-IT, MCA, MBA. More than 3500 students have been trained so far. Our feedback reports prove that we have been successful in achieving a 90% rate of satisfaction with our students.
The group started its Insurance training division, providing Insurance Training for Business advisors to Blue Chip Insurance Companies such as: ICICI Prudential, HDFC Standard Life, Aviva Life Insurance, Bajaj Allianz etc. So far 1000 Business advisors have been trained, who are currently employed with various Insurance Companies.The group's training division is ARCHER.
MICRONET expanded its services to the students of the region by entering the English language training market, valued at INR 6.0 million. The group is a franchise of Hero Mindmine, a division of the Hero Group, an INR million company.
MICRONET added further vertical of vocational training. We are now Vocational Training Provider under Ministry of Labour & Employment vide Reg. No. 10314008. We were sanctioned 14 courses our focus was primarily into ICT, Computer Hardware & Networking. Expanding our presence in Skill Development Sector we are now affiliated with 6 Sector Skill Councils i.e Retail, Electronics, Telecom Sector Skill Council, Agriculture, Beauty & Wellness. In a span of 5 years we have completed Govt. Projects like STAR Scheme, PMKVY, ESDM. We have trained approximately 14000 students in different sectors all across India. We have a PAN India presence in 12 states.
MICRONET participated in the STAR Scheme under National Skill Development Corporation. We were affiliated with RASCI and NASSCOM and trained 4000 students in this financial year.
Today, MICRONETs is an integral part of the National Skill Development Mission of the Govt of India with a pan India presence across 200 + training centres implementing India's flagship skilling program the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
